2014 Blood Boy TV

one off Drama about the tragedy of a young Moss side boxer who discovers a dark and life changing secret about his trainer. This was developed and used as a calling card by LA productions – Andrew Morrisey I was invited to Pitch for ‘Moving On’ and then was asked to produce ideas/eps based on a series idea -Blood Lines.

2016 Butterfly Dad

Radio series - developed with Caroline Raphael for BBC radio 4 A tale of medical tragedy around Hep C. ready for pitch

2017 Big Little women

comedy sketches for TV /Radio -these were submitted to Caroline Ahearne Bursary Award/cam in top 10 % Of all entries.

Currently working with Carl Cooper on BBC Radio 4 comedy.

Lecturer

I am a Lecturer in performance and comedy. I led the comedy programme from 2010-2015 -it was the first undergrad comedy programme in the UK - in 2014 I set up the prestigious Mike Craig comedy award- between 2011-2016 I developed an international partnership with Humber college in Toronto. I am currently involved in the setting up of a graduate scheme / internship with Comedy Central UK London

Throughout my career I have worked as an actor /facilitator for theatre companies such as TIPP and Clean Break –practitioners’ who are dedicated to using theatre as a tool for social change. During my engagements with these organisations, I have worked within a wide variety of settings ranging from prisons, secure units, community centres, probation centres, homeless communities, half way houses and schools.

Recommendations:

Lisa taught me various modules at university. Lisa both mentored and inspired me during the most important educational years of my life. She helped nurture my passion for comedy and challenged my ability to debate and engage with the societal arguments around being a woman in comedy.
